First, she went to a run-down parking lot and was offered $1,000. Then, she tried a pawn shop, where the offer dropped to $100. Finally, she took the car to an auto club, where members valued it at $100,000 due to its status as a Nissan Skyline R34, a highly sought-after model.
Upon returning, the father explained, “I wanted you to know that the right place values you in the right way. If you are not acknowledged, it just means that you are not in the right place. Do not take this personally. Avoid going somewhere where no one respects you.”
