A Cappella ‘God Bless The USA’ By Home Free With Lee Greenwood And US…

The a cappella group Home Free delivers a stirring rendition of “God Bless The USA,” featuring Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band.

Originally released in 1984 by Lee Greenwood, “God Bless The USA” was inspired by his desire to write a patriotic anthem. The tragic downing of Korean Air Lines Flight 007 served as the catalyst, motivating Greenwood to write a song that could unite the country.

Though the song initially climbed the country charts, it became a cultural landmark following the September 11th attacks.

“And I’m proud to be an American Where at least I know I’m free And I won’t forget the men who died Who gave that right to me.”

Home Free, the all-male a cappella group known for winning the fourth season of The Sing-Off, is comprised of Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Their distinctive harmonies have captivated audiences for years.

In this special performance, they collaborate with Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band to offer a powerful rendition of this iconic patriotic anthem.
